Dena Herbolich CPA, Partner, Moss Adams LLP, Employee Benefit Plan Audits

Dena Herbolich has 20 years of experience in public accounting and serves as chair of the Moss Adams Puget Sound region Employee Benefit Plan Services Group. Related responsibilities include assisting with firm wide benefit plan education and quality control. Dena is involved with audits of more than 80 defined contribution and defined benefit and health plans and employee stock ownership plans annually. Dena maintains current knowledge of industry regulations through formal continuing education sponsored by the ESOP Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, the Western Pension & Benefits Counsel, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Department of Labor. She served on the board of trustees of the Seattle Chapter Western Pension & Benefits Counsel from 2003-2005 and is a recipient of the Moss Adams Technical Excellence Award for her knowledge of the employee benefit plan industry. She also serves on the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan National Conference Planning Committee where she speaks on various topics, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans.
