Arthur Burkard is managing director of tax services at Grant Thornton's New York Tax Practice. He specializes in all areas of state and local taxation with an emphasis on multi-state corporate income/franchise tax and sales and transactions taxes.
Art is a recognized expert on multistate sales-tax issues related to construction matters, and he successfully led an effort to modify New York's regulations that impact construction contractors.
