Aileen Cho is the Senior Editor for all things transportation at Engineering News-Record. She has been on several award-winning editorial teams and has covered such crises as the September 11 attacks, Hurricane Katrina, the I-35W bridge collapse, and Superstorm Sandy.
She has won a Neal Award, the business publication equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize, for Best Feature and Best Technical Article in 2011 and 2012. She also received a journalism prize in 2006 from the American Association of Engineering Societies and Honorable Mention from the Construction Writers Association for her article on airports in 2004. She has written for the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Monster.com, and Shipping & Trade News.
