Erika is the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for R.D. Olson Construction, a national commercial contractor based in Southern California. She oversees a team of superstars, responsible for all aspects of its construction and development group finances including accounting and reporting, banking and surety relationships, strategic planning, risk management, and information systems.
During her 30-year tenure, she has become an integral part of the management team, playing a major role in the company’s growth toward becoming a respected general contractor in the US, with annual sales in excess of $300 million and an impressive portfolio of hospitality and multi-family fast-track projects with high-end finishes.
Erika joined CFMA‘s Orange County Chapter in 1994, served as its president in 2006-2007, and as national chairman in 2012-2013. Since becoming a member, she’s served on numerous national committees including Executive, Finance, and Chapter Resource. Erika is an alumnus of CFMA’s Mentoring Program and Spring Creek.
Nowadays she enjoys giving back to the industry through education and mentoring. In her spare time, Erika enjoys travel, tap, yoga and spending time with her husband, Mariano, and their children, Bella and Enzo.
