Retired Shareholder, VonLehman
Dan Owens worked in public accounting for over 35 years with VonLehman (a regional CPA & Advisory Firm with offices in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana) on closely-held construction contractors before retiring in 2018. At VonLehman, he was Chairman of the firm’s Construction/Real Estate Services Group and a member of its Quality Control Committee. Dan had also served as Chairman of the ICCIFP’s Compliance and Recertification Committee, a member of its Board of Trustees, and on the Exam Development and Strategic Planning committees. He was a founding member of CPAmerica’s national construction team of experts, and has written and spoken on construction financial, accounting, and tax issues. Dan has continued his involvement in the construction industry since retiring from VonLehman by consulting with contractors and teaching courses on cash.
