Jerry Henderson, CPA, CCIFP, is the firm-wide leader of BKD National Construction & Real Estate Group, where he is responsible for facilitating growth of this segment of BKD's practice through service innovation and the advancement of technical expertise among our client service personnel across the firm. Jerry also provides technical input on matters unique to the construction and real estate industry and coordinates BKD's consulting services to contractors and real estate developers.
His 20 years of experience serving contractors and real estate entities include commenting on proposed FASB pronouncements and assisting clients with the implementation of newly issued pronouncements, as well as providing consulting services in the areas of strategic planning, succession planning, financing assistance, profit enhancement, risk management, cost controls, overhead allocation, and performance improvement planning. Jerry is a frequent contributor to CFMA Building Profits, and is a well-respected speaker at regional and national conferences.
In 2010, Jerry coordinated CFMA's response to FASB's proposed revenue recognition rules which led to him presenting these views to FASB/IASB representatives in Palo Alto, CA at a November 2010 roundtable.
