Jeffrey Cosby

Jeff Cosby has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Law since 2002. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1989 and is a 1992 graduate of Nova Southeastern University Law School. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts throughout Florida. Mr. Cosby began his career as a prosecutor on the Treasure Coast where he developed his trial skills. He participated in numerous jury trials involving persons charged with all levels of crimes, including first-degree murder. Since joining the firm in 1997, Mr. Cosby has tried an extensive number of civil cases to verdict throughout the Treasure Coast, Palm Beach and Broward Counties, the Space Coast and other venues in Florida. Mr. Cosby currently chairs the 19th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee and is President-Elect of the Martin County Inns of Court. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), one of the most highly respected organizations in the nation for civil trial lawyers. He is also a member of the Martin County Bar Association and the Florida Bar. Mr. Cosby handles the defense of claims involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, brain injury, construction defect, construction litigation, Chinese drywall, business and contract disputes, homeowners and property association disputes, product defects, insurance coverage disputes, complex global settlements, employment disputes, and civil rights matters. Mr. Cosby has also handled cases on behalf of various Plaintiffs involved in multiple claims.
