AJ Jain serves as a Senior Vice President for Alliant Construction Services Group, and leads the surety department in Denver, CO. In his current role, AJ’s responsibilities include structuring and supporting surety programs for clients and working with surety carriers at the local and national levels.
Prior to joining Alliant, AJ worked for both insurance carriers with Liberty Mutual and Chubb, and major brokers with Lockton and Aon. AJ has extensive experience in the placement of large construction accounts; and large commercial surety clients (private and public). Many were general contractors with $800M to $1B in annual revenues.
Because of his background, AJ has been able to place surety programs for numerous types of industries including private equity firms, international surety programs, developer builders, regional home builders, and oil, gas and mining companies. Each industry has its challenges and AJ has successfully worked through those challenges with creative solutions. Some of his success includes structuring surety capacity for a large mining company and freeing up $40M in cash for the client; creating a $300 million surety program for a vertically integrated builder developer; and creating surety capacity for several private equity firms in the energy savings, rail work, and oil & gas industry.
