Andy serves as General Counsel for the Buckingham Companies, a full-service real estate company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana that specializes in development, construction, property management (market/affordable, urban/suburban, garden/mid-rise), fund management, asset management, corporate housing, design review, renovation/repositioning, student housing, public/private partnerships, air rights lease, receiverships, acquisition analysis and marketing services. As General Counsel, Andy provides legal counsel, advice and services intended to enable Buckingham to achieve its business objectives without exposing Buckingham to inappropriate legal risks. Providing in-house legal counsel for a dynamic real estate developer, construction company, and management firm, Andy tackles diverse challenges daily. From project acquisitions and development, entitlements and economic incentives, investment, and construction agreements, to fund management and commercial leases. Andy has served as Buckingham’s legal counsel for over fourteen years and has been instrumental in over a billion dollars’ worth of real estate transactions for Buckingham. Andy is presently a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority. Andy is a graduate of Notre Dame Law School, where he earned his J.D. cum laude, and of Indiana University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
