Cari Williams joined DPR in 1994 as the San Diego region’s 10th employee and followed an organic career evolution into people practices in 2006. Working in the technical side of construction, a world dominated by concrete and steel, Cari knew it was people that made the difference. With 41 years in the construction industry, Cari has helped shape and guide DPR innovations with the knowing hand of a veteran. As a member of DPR San Diego’s leadership team, Cari has served in multiple roles including Project Executive, Project Manager, People Practices and Learning and Development Lead. Cari transitioned her focus to Social Responsibility in 2019. Cari’s strong skills allow DPR to integrate and leverage diversity and inclusion (people), sustainability (planet) and community initiatives (philanthropy) to work towards the company’s mission of being one of the most admired companies by 2030. Cari earned her BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California.
