Mr. Martin is the Vice President of the Construction Division at TIS Insurance Services, Inc., where he has worked for 17 years. He leads the TIS Bond Department, a specialized unit providing commercial and contract surety bonds. This department focuses on offering comprehensive advice to construction clients to help them develop and maintain their surety programs.
Mr. Martin is actively involved in various construction industry trade associations, including the Associated Builders and Contractors, Associated General Contractors, Tennessee Road Builders Association, and Contractors Financial Management Association of Tennessee. In 2016, he received the prestigious President’s Award from the National Association of Surety Bond Professionals for his service to the surety industry and the association.
Before joining TIS, Mr. Martin worked in private banking at Wachovia Bank. He graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, College of Business Administration, with a bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2003.
