Chris Murphy

Chris is chief underwriting officer for Travelers construction surety in Hartford, having responsibility for the Midwest and Northeast regions of the U.S. His 28 years with Travelers include assignments in the St. Louis and Springfield, Mass. field offices and his current role in Hartford. In his role, Chris leads a team of underwriters focused on the construction industry. The team seeks to deliver credit and business solutions, including providing perspectives, aimed at helping agents and construction companies maximize their success.
