Chris Wendt is the Vice President of Technology Services at Syscon, where he oversees the company’s network technicians and programmers under one solution-delivery umbrella. He is a technology wizard, data master, and workflow automation guru who, in addition to designing an electronic field time solution, transforms mountains of data from multiple sources like accounting software, field time collection software, and Excel spreadsheets into dashboards on Power BI that display meaningful data that can help clients make informed decisions. He started with the company in 214 to focus on Syscon’s website re-design but moved into the Business Consulting department shortly after. In 216, he took on the Programming Team as part of a Sage product re-write that impacted Syscon’s decades’ worth of custom analytical add-on tools to this construction-specific accounting software. Syscon has been supporting construction companies and their computers for over 35 years, is a Microsoft and Sage Business Partner, and has expertise in construction, technology, and Sage 1 Contractor, a construction-specific accounting and enterprise resource planning program.
