Christian Geismann, CPA, is Chief Financial Officer at Schuchart Corporation, a commercial contractor serving clients in Seattle, WA and throughout the Puget Sound region. He leads the finance/accounting, HR, and IT teams and helps guide strategy development and implementation for the organization.
Prior to joining Schuchart, Christian worked in public accounting for more than 11 years in the U.S. and UK for Moss Adams and Mazars, where he coordinated local and multi-national financial statement audits with various teams operating throughout the world. Christian also served as Sustainability Services National Leader at Moss Adams and contributed to numerous AICPA task forces focused on sustainability reporting.
Christian served as President of the Puget Sound CFMA chapter through March 2023 and continues on the Board of the chapter, serving on the Sponsorship committee and Succession Task Force. He led the regeneration of the Pacific Northwest Regional Conference in 2022 and is continuing to support planning efforts for 2023. Nationally, Christian serves on the CFMA Executive Committee, Next Generation Task Force, and Chapter Resources Committee and has authored multiple articles in Building Profits and was honored as a CFMA Rising Star in 2021.
Christian earned his BA in Economics and Accounting from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Christian and his wife Amanda enjoy spending time with their three little girls aged eight and younger. He also enjoys traveling, fitness, craft brew, and getting immersed in all things baseball, specifically the Seattle Mariners.
