Dick Rice

Richard W. Rice, CPA, has over 50 years of accounting experience and was the founding President of the Albuquerque Chapter of CFMA. Mr. Rice retired from Jaynes Corporation in 2000 after over 15 years of service as the Secretary/Treasurer. During that time Dick also served Banes General Contractors, El Paso, Texas, as Secretary/Treasurer. Prior to joining Jaynes, Dick worked with Ranchers Exploration and Development Corporation as Assistant Treasurer, and more than 17 years in public accounting.

Dick has been a member of CFMA since 1988, and has held such leadership positions as national President, Treasurer, and Secretary. He was the recipient of the CFMA Danny Parrish Leadership Award in 2002 and the NM Society of CPA’s Outstanding CPA in Industry Award in 2000. Mr. Rice, as Chair of the Certification Committee, was instrumental in the development of the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional certification program. He was also Treasurer and President of the Albuquerque Chapter of the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has held countless committee positions and leadership positions with CFMA, AGC, NMSCPA, AICPA, and other non-profit and charitable organizations.

Dick graduated from Indiana State University with a BS in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Mexico.
