Edwin Parra is the Operations Administrator for Anning-Johnson, a national specialty contractor that has been in business fo more than 80 years. Specializing in construction recruiting and workforce development for over 15 years, Edwin engages local and national workforce development resources, in order to combat the industries skilled labor shortage. With federal advocacy efforts and initiatives, Edwin has helped to bring back trade programs into high schools and tech schools across the country, providing him with key insights into gaps and trends impacting the workforce. Anning-Johnson’s Atlanta district leads the state, with its carpentry and drywall finisher apprenticeships, while also creating a growing leadership pipeline. Edwin is passionate in creating awareness of the rewarding opportunities available to those joining the trades.
