Denita became a CFMA member in 1996. Through CFMA, she achieved her CCIFP in 2004. She served on the board of Central PA until relocating to WI in 2016. Denita is currently Vice President of the Madison WI CFMA chapter, and a board member of the Wisconsin Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors. Denita has co-authored an article for CFMA and presented at various conferences.
