Jennifer L. Murphy, CCIFP – Jennifer L. Murphy is the Chief Financial Officer of Grand Rapids, Michigan based Pleune Service Company. Pleune Service Company is a full service commercial mechanical contractor serving clients in the lower peninsula of Michigan. Pleune is a 100% ESOP (employee owned) company. Jennifer also serves as an officer of the company holding the Treasurer role. She is a member of the executive team and is one of the 2 trustees of the ESOP. Jennifer is responsible for all of the financial functions, IT and purchasing for the company. Prior to joining Pleune over 10 years ago, Jennifer was the Controller for Workstage, LLC, a national design-build general contractor based in Grand Rapids, MI. Jennifer graduated with her BBA in Accounting and MBA in Management from Grand Valley State University. Jennifer has been a member of the Western Michigan Chapter of CFMA since 2006. She has served as the President, Vice-President, and Secretary of the Western Michigan Chapter. Jennifer was the Western Michigan Chapter member of the year in 2018. She currently is a National Officer of CFMA in the Treasurer role. She previously served on the Executive Committee, Specialty Trade Committee, Finance Committee and National Conference Program Committee with CFMA National. She has also been on the program committee for the Midwest Regional Conference and is currently on the planning committee for the Great Lakes Regional CFMA Conference. Jennifer passed the CCIFP exam in February 2018. She is an alumnus of the CFMA Mentoring Program and CFMA at Spring Creek. Jennifer also has served on the program committee of the ASAM chapter in West Michigan.
