Jerry is one of the original five Acrisure Agency Partners, and Shareholder since July 1, 2010. He is the only agency partner to invest 100% of his agency's value into Acrisure stock. He continues to be "all-in" and has not sold any of his Acrisure stock. Jerry has witnessed firsthand Acrisure's dramatic growth from $32 million in revenue to $4 billion in 2022.
He is a frequent speaker and thought leader on Risk Management, including featured presentations at BELFOR Franchise Group, Home Builders Association of Michigan, Construction Financial Management Association, and various insurance associations. He also has extensive political experience, and frequently works with State and National legislators on insurance-related legislation. Jerry graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL, and maintains a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. He was the recipient of Professional Insurance Agents of Michigan "Agent of the Year" for 2019. He was also the "Associate Member of the Year" for the Home Builders Association of Western Michigan in 2018, and the American Diabetes Association "Father of the Year" in 2012.
Jerry currently serves on the board of the Big I of Michigan, Chairman of the Big I of Michigan Legislative/Public Policy Committee, board of the Builders Exchange of Kalamazoo, and board of directors of the CFMA Southwest Michigan Chapter. He is also a Wall Street Journal Opinion Leader, Atheneum Global Advisor, and treasurer for Park Village Pines senior care center.
