Joann is a Managing Director in the Construction & Engineering specialized banking practice for CIBC’s US region. Joann works with owners and senior executives of construction firms to ensure optimal financing, treasury, and other banking products and services are in place. Prior to joining CIBC US, Joann was a Senior Vice President at Fifth Third Bank, where she focused on middle-market clients in the construction industry. Joann also spent eight years as a Managing Director within the Construction & Engineering Team at BMO-Harris Bank.
Joann received her Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She received her Master of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. In addition, she is a Certified Public Accountant. In December 2018, Joann was recognized as one of Chicago’s Notable Women in Commercial Banking by Crain’s Chicago Business. She is a Board member of the Chicago Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association and an active member of the Chicago Building Congress.
