Katherine Cahill is a Global Managing Director at Marsh in the Global Product Risk Practice, where she assists manufacturers in the automotive, industrial products, and consumer products industries with national and international recall issues. She has specialty expertise in regulatory compliance issues in the food and drug, automotive, consumer products, and meat and poultry sectors. She has also recently assisted companies in creating risk avoidance platforms in the areas of bio-terrorism and container security.
Before joining Marsh, Katherine spent 25 years working as a Product Recall Specialist in a variety of professional capacities, including serving as a Global Director for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the area of regulatory compliance and product recall and at CNA Insurance Company.
Katherine is an associate professor of law, and she lectures at several law schools around the country on product liability, class action litigation, and regulatory compliance. She also lectures in the US and abroad to companies about product recall and regulatory compliance. She has published several articles and a primer in the area of regulatory compliance and product recall.
