Melvin Schneider CPA, CCIFP

Melvin Schneider, CPA, CCIFP is the CFO at Clement Building company in Louisiana where he joined the company in 2016. Melvin brought his expertise in job costing from oil service to construction. He helped the company implement a 401k plan while managing A/R, A/P, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management. Melvin is also active on the Board of Directors for the Greater New Orleans CFMA Chapter and as former president. He was recently awarded CFMA's Joe Quigley award in 2024 for his on-going dedication to enhancing the construction finance industry. 

Prior to joining Clement Building, Melvin held auditing position in public accounting, then moved to oil service company with private equity backing where he was responsible for the financial statements, debt covenant compliance, implementation of a new ERP software, quarterly financial statements for owners & lenders, and refinancing a $30M credit facility.

Melvin has a Bachelors and Masters degrees of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University. Loyal to his alma mater, he managed to attend 99 straight LSU football games (home, road, & bowl). He also attended the entirety of LSU’s baseball national title run in Omaha in 2009 at the CWS.
