Sustainability Manager, Granite Construction

Raven Adams leads the Sustainability program at Granite Construction, one of the largest civil infrastructure companies in the United States. Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Adams received her BA in Psychology and Neuroscience from Colby College in Maine. She discovered her passion for sustainability at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law while specializing in environmental and natural resources law. At Granite, Adams is responsible for sustainability strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and corporate reporting. Active in several industry groups, she currently serves as Vice-Chair of the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) Sustainability Committee. She also represented member producers on NAPA’s Climate Stewardship Task Force, which developed goals for NAPA’s asphalt industry climate action plan (The Road Forward). In August 2022, Adams was recognized by ENR California as a 20-under-40 “Top Young Professional.” Beyond Granite, Adams serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Health Trust of Pajaro Valley, in support of its mission to foster a healthy and equitable community for all through leadership in advocacy, collaboration, and wellness.
