Rebecca Johlie is a Contract Surety Underwriter at Markel Insurance Company. Starting her career at Arthur J. Gallagher, Rebecca has 5 years of experience specializing in the surety industry. As an underwriter, her role is to assess the risk associated with supporting a surety bond or bonding program for a contractor. Rebecca is actively involved in the surety industry, serving on the board of the Surety Association of Illinois, as well as being a member of Women in Surety: Midwest. Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Kent State University and continues her industry education through NASBP Surety School and working through the AFSB designation (Associate in Fidelity & Surety Bonding).
