Scott Fairgrieve, CPA, CCIFP, is the Chief Financial Officer of Shimmick Construction Co., Inc., an ENR 400 infrastructure contractor operating in the western states. He manages all financial and administrative affairs for the company.
Scott has spent his entire professional career in the construction industry, beginning as a bookkeeper for a small GC in California's central valley. Prior to joining Shimmick in 1996, Scott served as Controller for RGW Construction, Inc. and spent five years in public accounting with the Construction Industry Group of Moss Adams, LLP.
Scott is active in various industry associations and serves on CFMA's Heavy/Highway Committee. He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on accounting and MIS from California State University, Chico, and a professional certificate in construction management from San Francisco State University.
