Scott served in US Special Forces as a Green Beret where he was immersed in low-trust environments that were emerging from multi-decade crises. Scott and his team would connect with local leadership to help them overcome the debilitating paralysis from prolonged isolation and the underlying fear of reconnecting out of their immediate circle.
