Stan Halliday

Stan Halliday is the Chief Underwriting Officer for Travelers Bond & Specialty Insurance, Construction Services, and National Accounts in Hartford, Connecticut. Stan has been with Travelers for more than 30 years and served in multiple field office roles. In 2003, Stan was transferred to Travelers’ home office to work in its Construction Services National Account Unit, and was promoted to his current role in 2012. Stan has significant experience underwriting large complex contractors and projects, including most of the major infrastructure and building projects in North America over the past 18 years. He played a major role in the development of Travelers’ Project Loss Insurance product as well as its Expedited Dispute Resolution Bond Form to help contractors qualify for public-private partnership projects without using letters of credit. He is a NASBP/SFAA Tiger Trust Award recipient.
