Suzanne Cruz-Sewell

Assistant Vice President, Business Diversity & Development, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

Suzanne Cruz-Sewell is the Assistant Vice President of the Business Diversity & Development Department at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). She is responsible for the strategic implementation of the Airport Concessions/Disadvantaged/Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise (AC/D/M/WBE) Programs and for managing the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure increased contracting opportunities for AC/D/M/WBEs.
Suzanne has more than twenty years of industry and contract administration expertise in the field of construction and professional services and has extensive experience working closely with governmental entities to assure compliance with applicable regulations and create expanded opportunities for women and minority-owned businesses. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Architecture and Texas Woman’s University where she earned her Executive Master of Business Administration. She is also a graduate of the National Hispana Leadership Institute, a comprehensive leadership program for the country’s top Latinas and the American Contract Compliance Association as a Master Compliance Administrator. Within DFW, she has served in various leadership roles including serving as president for the Womens Initiative Network (WIN) and the Hispanic Outreach by Leaders in Action (HOLA), DFW’s employee resource groups. She has served as Past President of the Hispanic 100 and currently serves as a Board Member for the Women’s Business Council Southwest, Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the American National Bank of Texas.
