| Troy Taylor, CPA, is a managing director in FORVIS' federal tax specialty practice. Troy has more than 20 years of public and industry accounting experience, specializing in taxation of public and large private entities. He began his career in public accounting, then spent twelve years as a leader in the tax department of a class I railroad, returning to public accounting in 2019. His career has been focused on federal, state, and local tax consulting and compliance; incentives and credits; issues surrounding tax provision accruals; and tax legislation. He has spent the majority of his career in the Dallas-Fort Worth area following his graduation from Brigham Young University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. Troy is also involved in many local nonprofit organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America, and many youth sports. |
