This session will review the reasons why Structure Tone, Davis and Pankow have opted in for CMiC Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to provide a supplementary method to effectively track and summarize their costs on a per transaction basis. As case studies, they will draw on their organization’s experience to outline how WBS can be tailored to the specific requirements of each company according to the cost structure of a job.

Explore the possibilities of exchanging data for joint ventures to guarantee data accuracy and remove redundant data entry systematically and effectively.

In this session we'll review the various ways to protect your infrastructure as well as which policies you should enforce within your OnPrem environment. Topics will include: physical protection of servers and networks; disaster recovery scenarios; and data security. We'll be discussing how to secure your infrastructure through application security, login security, AD integration with CMIC, and methods for limiting unwanted access.

This session will focus on a specific component of Contract Forecasting – Labor Forecasting. Simply defined, Labor Forecasting is the ability to adjust the time and allocation of your workforce on a project and see how this impacts the overall cost and schedule of the project.

This learning lab will focus on using the CMiC platform to create customized outputs from CMiC Field in both Word and PDF formats. We will review use cases for Subcontract/Purchase Orders, Submittals and Changes, among others. The MIP integration supports the creations of consistent and customizable outputs that will match your specific requirements.

During this learning lab we'll conduct a hands-on training session that showcases CMiC’s Catalog & Dashboard Builder. CMiC Catalog Builder establishes the data structure utilized in building the visualizations in Dashboard Builder. In Catalog Builder users can define data elements, apply user defined fields, create calculated fields, and define security prior to building the dashboard components. Dashboard Builder will be used to visualize, analyze and report on multiple business areas in real time.

This 'technical' lab will focus on the 'how' of managing integrations. Presenters will describe the capabilities of CMiC APIs and how to use them to drive innovation with your technology stack. For example, CMiC APIs are used when you need data to flow into your system of record (CMiC) or if you need to exchange data with third-party systems. Participants will investigate and discuss how to create smart and comprehensive integrations using API Bundles. CMiC APIs can be used for both Cloud and Enterprise deployments, making this session useful for all CMiC customers.
