CMiC Analytics & Query Builder

This learning lab will provide a hands-on training session illustrating the power of CMiC’s new Query Builder and analytical capabilities available from the CMiC Analytics Suite. Query Builder allows users to create customizable and printable queries of any table or view in the CMiC platform, complete with user defined labels, filters, pivots, formats, sorting, grouping, subtotals and drill-downs. The Analytics module provides a comprehensive deployment and management platform for the entire CMiC Analytics Suite. Through customer research, we have estimated that correctly and comprehensively using the CMiC Query Builder tool may eliminate up to 80% of a construction firm's report printing needs.

Preparing for R12 Upgrade (Cloud Deployment)

Understand what is to come with the R12 upgrade during this hands-on training lab. Discover what’s new with an overview of the latest features with a deep dive into the updates in the UI and PM interfaces. A significant portion of the lab will focus on submittals, the updated mobile-view and the appropriate testing that should be done in preparation in the R12 environment. This lab is only open to CMiC cloud customers with valid R12 login credentials.

Managing the employee lifecycle is a function that HR departments at every construction firm should prioritize because it involves the company’s most valuable asset -- its human capital. When employees are supported at every stage of their careers, they feel valued and confident that they can achieve their goals, which translates into high job satisfaction and loyalty. Simply defined, Employee Lifecycle is defined as the tools, processes and management structures that support the total experience of an employee at a company. The main stages that constitute ELM include outreach, recruitment, onboarding, performance, development and offboarding.

Through interactive exercises, we will explore:
