Many contractors frequently debate whether to become a government contractor. Government contractors can provide service to Federal, State, Municipal, and other special government entities. The obvious attraction is consistent cash flow, recurring work, and a potential stable owner. However, there is a tremendous shift in compliance, cost, and investment near-term and long-term to achieve adequacy. This presentation will cover many different aspects that are not often discussed. Change management and investment may become overwhelming and detrimental without leadership, employee buy-in, and commitment to people, process, systems, technology, and data management.
