An effective Construction Financial Manager (CFM) needs to have a thorough understanding of the information technology being utilized at their company. The purpose of this course is to provide the CFM with an overview of the many aspects of the IT function, and where they can turn to for assistance in making sure the company is fully utilizing the most appropriate technology in every aspect of its business as well as properly managing its risks. This course will address the importance of collaboration between departments, effective network administration, and the various types of hardware and software most utilized by the industry.
