Todd is Grant Thornton's National Construction Practice Leader and a member of Grant Thornton's National Construction, Real Estate and Hospitality leadership team. Based in Minneapolis, Todd coordinates professional services for contractors, architects and engineers, and suppliers to the construction industry. In addition, Todd assists the construction practices of Grant Thornton throughout the U.S. He has over 25 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant. Todd is a contributing author to CFMA's Financial Management and Accounting for the Construction Industry, and has re-written Chapter 29 on "Taxes." This chapter is a treatise dealing with the unique aspects of taxation as it pertains to the construction industry and is part of the premier reference volume for construction financial professionals. Todd also frequently writes and presents on issues of importance to his clients. Todd received the Debra Hahn Memorial Award in May 2004 from the Construction Financial Management Association for his leadership in that organization over the last 11 years. Aside from his many contributions to CFMA, his other affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of General Contractors Tax and Fiscal Affairs Committee.
