Luke Nolan

Luke began his career in the construction industry in 1979 working in the area of Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia. In 1987, Luke worked for the Aetna Casualty & Surety Company in McLean VA underwriting contract surety, fidelity, and fiduciary liability exposures. He moved to The Hartford Fire Insurance company handling surety and fidelity for the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Then moved to Dallas, TX, with the Hartford to be in contract surety management with the territory of West/North Texas, Dallas and Oklahoma.

He is the 2006-07 past President of the Dallas Fort Worth Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) Chapter and served in an advisory leadership role for nineteen years. 2017-19 He served on the board and the head of the safety subcommittee for TEXO. TEXO represent the leading general contractors and specialty contractors in Texas. TEXO combines the two largest national construction associations AGC & ABC(Associated General Contractors & Associated Building Contractors) to unify, advocate, and advance the construction industry in North and East Texas.

Luke serves as the Co-Leader of the Default Insurance Group (DIG) Center of Excellence in Dallas, TX. DIG’s 10 member team focuses primarily on placement and servicing of the Default Insurance product with the ENR Top Contractors nationally and internationally.

Luke Nolan has additional responsiblilities for business development for surety and property and casualty construction related performance and insurance risk. Luke also has experience in surety property & casualty insurance placement, loss control/safety, property & business interruption loss prevention and claims, executive protection lines, captive utilization, and alternative risk finance solutions.
