Mark Wilkerson CPA

Mark is the North Region industry leader of BKD National Construction & Real Estate Group. He has been a member of this team for most of his 24 years in public accounting.

He serves the construction, real estate, manufacturing, and architectural and engineering industries. His experience includes general tax and business consulting, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, cost segregation, and ongoing strategic tax planning and representation before the IRS.

Mark is a member of the Downtown Council of Kansas City Executive Committee and a member of the CFMA Tax & Legislative Affairs Committee. Mark also serves on the University of Kansas Accounting & Information Systems Executive Advisory Council and is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association, Associated General Contractors of America, Missouri Society of CPAs, and American Institute of CPAs.

He is a 1994 graduate of The University of Kansas, Lawrence, with a B.S. degree in business administration and accounting, and a 1995 graduate of University of Missouri–Kansas City, with an M.S. degree in accounting taxation.
