Matt is the current Chief Executive Officer of OCP Contractors an Interior Systems contractor with offices in Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo, Ohio. OCP currently employs carpenters throughout the state of Ohio with a total skilled trade’s workforce that often reaches over 500. In addition to OCP interior systems business, OCP also builds load bearing panelized mid-rise structures, finish carpentry, millwork and specialty finish products.

Matt started with OCP in 1980 and has worked his way to his current position beginning in sales then through estimating, purchasing, project management, VP Operations and the President of OCP. His career has been nothing but construction. Matt is an advocate for the implementation of innovation and technology in construction and has led OCP to be leaders in Lean Construction, BIM, Design Assist and Integrated Project Delivery, Total Station robotics, prefabrication and the use of tablet technology on jobsites. Recently, OCP has engaged new resources to advance our Lean Construction initiatives by eliminating waste and driving value to our customers.

In addition to his work at OCP, Matt has been heavily involved in the advancement of the construction industry through various organizations such as: Associated General Contractors Board of Directors, Association of Wall and Ceiling Industry Board of Directors, Signatory Wall and Ceiling Contractors Alliance Board of Directors, The Regional Growth Partnership Board of Directors, Trustee on the Ohio Carpenters JATC, and various union negotiating committees to name a few.

Matt graduated from St. John’s Jesuit High School and attended Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Construction Management school for 4 years and began working for OCP from an internship he was completing for BGSU.
