Expert in the construction industry involving public and private projects. Jose has over twenty years of experience within the construction accounting field, such as critical financial analysis, bonding, audits and reviews, casualty, and risk management with a particular focus on financial planning, internal controls, and cash forecast. Former hands-on CFO of one of the largest construction and asphalt manufacturer companies in Florida and lead Joint Venture team to the successful completion of the Airport Link Metrorail project in Miami, an over $500M project. Vast experience with financial audits and reviews, implementation of internal controls and development of policies and procedures for equipment fleet management, manufacturing facilities, project controls, human resources, purchasing and risk management. Currently, Jose is the Accounting and Advisory Partner at RVG & Company and serves as the advisor of multiple construction companies. Jose is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) and holds the Client Accounting Advisory Certificate (CAS) issued by the AICPA. Jose is now attending Florida International University for an MBA in Real Estate and is part of the Board of Directors at the CFMA South Florida Chapter.
