Kirstin Simonson, CPCU, ARM, AU, ASLI, is an Underwriting Director for Global Technology at Travelers, where she is involved in product development and implementation of specialty coverages, including cyber-related coverage. Global Technology offers a comprehensive portfolio of specialty products and services to companies involved in IT, electronics manufacturing, medical technology and telecommunications.
Kirstin’s primary expertise is Professional Liability and Errors and Omissions coverage. She is also focused on the development of underwriting appetites and underwriting practices related to the IT segment.
She has also been interviewed and written several articles on privacy and social media risks, and has been a speaker at several conferences on cyber-related and social media risks.
Kirstin earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of North Dakota.
