Tab Keener is a Shareholder with the Dallas law firm of Downs & Stanford, P.C., practicing in construction law, trucking accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, electric utility, products liability, and oilfield accidents, all with an emphasis on trial practice. As lead counsel, Tab has tried many complex commercial and personal injury defense cases to verdict. As a result of such trial experience, he is a frequently requested speaker. His article on premises liability is cited in an opinion by the San Antonio Court of Appeals and is prominently featured in O'Connor's Texas Causes of Action.
Tab has been admitted to the bars of the State of Texas and the U.S. District Court - Northern, Eastern, Western, and Southern Districts of Texas. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. He earned a BA from Southern Methodist University and a JD from Mississippi College School of Law.
