Russ Matthys is a tax partner and leader in Crowe’s National Construction & Real Estate Services Group, which serves over 1,100 industry clients. With over 22 years of public accounting experience, Russ focuses on complicated tax matters and providing year-round tax planning and consultation to his clients. Russ clients include general contractors, construction management firms, architectural and engineering firms, real estate development, rental real estate, heavy highway, mechanical, electrical, roofing, sheet metal, interior, and other specialty contractors. His experience includes extensive work with multi-state and/or multi-entity contractors, representation of clients in tax audits, and tax planning strategies.
