As President, Pat is responsible for the overall performance of the company including execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) including sales, human resources, operational execution and meeting client expectations leading to company loyalty and repeat work. He is also responsible for overall company finances, risk management, and legal actions. He influences all aspects of the company to enhance the improvement of long-term financial returns while working within the stated mission and values of the Company. Pat has previously served as President for IMPCO Microfinishing for 4 years. As president, he oversaw the company’s operations, sales and management. Prior to IMPCO, Pat served as financial controller at Granger Construction in Lansing for 12 years where he also oversaw the company’s information technology division and assisted in the areas of risk management and contract review. Following graduation from Michigan State University in 1990, he was employed for 12 years as a tax and audit professional with the Plante & Moran accounting firm in East Lansing. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP), Pat served as past National Chairman, Officer and Executive Committee member of the Construction Finance Management Association (CFMA). He is an active member of the West Michigan Chapter of CFMA and former officer of the Lansing Chapter of CFMA. He is also a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Pat is the current Treasurer of the West Michigan Humane Society and Vice Chairman of the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals. He has served on the board of the Capital Area Humane Society and is an avid boater. He and his wife Joanne live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
