Rich Shavell, President of Shavell & Company P.A., located in Boca Raton, Florida.   Shavell & Company is a full-service CPA & Consulting firm specializing in serving commercial contractors. Over the last three decades, Rich has testified on behalf of the construction industry: on proposed legislation six times before the U.S. Congress; And five times before IRS & Treasury Department on proposed regulations. He is a four-time winner of the South Florida Business Journal Awards for CPAs. 

For the last four and a half years Rich has authored the “Tax Techniques” column in CFMA’s Building Profits magazine. This summer marks 30 years since his first published article appeared in CFMA’s Building Profits magazine.
