Cindy is the leader of BKD’s IT Risk Services (ITRS) division, which comprises IT security and internal controls auditors in offices across the firm. ITRS provides System and Organization Controls (SOC) and cybersecurity services. These services include SOC readiness, SSAE18/SOC 1, 2 and 3 exams, internal audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) consulting as well as a suite of cybersecurity solutions: cybersecurity risk assessments, advanced threat and vulnerability testing and social engineering, incident response and investigation, business continuity resilience, policy and procedure creation, SOC for Cyber exams and awareness training for employees and boards of directors. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. As well as being a CPA, she is a Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®), Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA).
