For the first time, the 2024 National Strategy for Suicide Prevention specifically references the intersection of suicide with substance use, misuse, and substance use disorder. This is significant as the country continues to grapple with the ongoing drug overdose crisis. By attending this webinar, during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, you will gain practical skills and techniques for initiating ongoing conversations with children and young adults about the potentially deadly consequences of substance use and misuse.
